Houston school shooting

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police say one person was killed and five others wounded in a shooting at a football field at a Houston high school. Police Lt. John Zitzmann says witnesses believe the shooting Wednesday evening at the Worthing High School field was gang-related. It did not happen during school or during a school activity.
Witnesses say the shooting happened about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday as a group of young men watched their girlfriends play football in southern Houston. Witnesses say a Ford Taurus full of other young men drove onto the field and a brief fistfight broke out. Zitzmann said witnesses say the fight appeared to be over when
the shooting started.
