TYLER — On Saturday, KETK's sister station Fox 51 and our radio partners 102.3 The Breeze hosted the 2012 East Texas Idol competition at Broadway Square Mall in Tyler.

We spoke with some contestants and had them sing for us.

Whitney Wright from Nacogdoches ended up taking home the big prize.
