LA MARQUE, Texas - U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison returns to her hometown near the Gulf Coast today, to announce she will run for Texas Governor.

That's where the senator kicks off a 5-day campaign tour.

Hutchison is expected to make stops in Tyler and Nacogdoches on Tuesday. Only two Texans— Sam Houston and Price Daniel— have made the leap from senator to governor.

When she is able to show exactly how many more illegal aliens were prevented from entering the country by the "enhanced levees" in the valley than by the fence she sabotaged in senate negotiations, I might consider her as a viable choice for governor.

Until she provides such an answer, she is just an open-borders shill for the growers and builders in Texas that cheat the system with illegal cheap labor!
