Edric Sizemore, President & Founder of iSafe Backpacks and Bags, provided a video demonstration of how the built-in alarm works. The bag has two shoulder straps, right shoulder strap is the safety strap, pull the flap up, and it reveals a cord that is connected to a switch. When the cord is pulled, the bag sounds of an alarm. The alarm is as loud as a car alarm.

"What's good about this product is...when the user activates the product, it's not too loud to the user because the way the speakers are designed in the bag, the sound goes out and away from the user to attract attention, " said Edric Sizemore.

Parents seem a little more at ease knowing there is a backpack on the market that can keep kids safe.

iSafe has new product line that will be on the market designed for adults called "Urban Crew", a lap-top bag and waist packs with a built-in alarm. i-Safe backpacks are only sold online at TOYS'R'US, Walmart and will soon be available at Target, and also sold on iSafe Backpacks and Bags.

iSafe backpacks and bags can protect kids from bullies, college students and adults from attackers, and can also be helpful when a person needs medical attention.
