Pre-paid cell phones are used by many Americans and people worldwide, oftentimes to avoid long-term contracts by cell phone companies.

But they are also often used by suspected terrorists and drug dealers, because they require no registration or identification in order to purchase.

Now, a new piece of legislation, co-authored by Senator John Cornyn (R) of Texas, would require identification upon purchase of the pre-paid phones.

Is this just another example of too much government intervention? Or could it possible help in securing our nation and world?

The Government over reaches its authority as it is,the last thing we need is a law like this. Leave it to a member of the right wing of The Big Government Party to come up with this kind of garbage!
