East Texas residents took to the corner of Broadway and the Loop in Tyler to voice theirs thoughts and opinions about the crisis surrounding our U.S. border. Those passing by honked their horns in support of the protestors who were holding signs reading "Close the Border". Protestors were at the corner for several hours Saturday expressing their thoughts on how both our federal and state government should handle the issue. The common response, "send them home".

While protestors expressed sympathy for the children who have become mixed up in the situation, they still believe the children should be sent home because at the end of the day, they're illegal and that's a crime.

Governor Rick Perry recently spoke out about the crisis at the border suggesting he would take matters into his own hands, however, legally there isn't much he can do when it comes to handling a federal matter. That didn't stop some protestors from feeling like he could still take action. One protestor suggested he at least close the Texas border.

Two polls came out this week: Gallup and Rasmussen. They say Americans want this influx of illegals to stop.

That is right neal, the t-party republican house needs to pass an immigration bill or atleast assign it to a conference committee so congress as a whole can do their jobs and pass a bipartisian immigration law that secures the borders as set out in the Senate bill that has been in the house for more than a year now.

It will never happen because the GOP /T-Party republicans love cheap labor and illegal immigrant.

These people should have gone around Tyler with a camera & stopped at every house that were having their lawns done by illegals & ask the owners why they were violating the law. Ketk could put such a video on TV & then we would know who is hurting America and East Texas. If neal has a yard, I would bet we would find some illegals there too

These poor people do not know anything about the U. S. Constitution. One thing t-party rick illegal immigrant lover perry could do is sign an executive order requiring ALL businesses, small & large to use the free E-Verify system & place heavier fines on violators for employing illegal immigrants. He could make Greg Abbott do his job & enforce state & federal employment laws.

quit waisting you're time go home !!
