Iraq students

January 29, 2009 - 8:51pm

Iraqi students wanting to study in the U.S. will soon get their chance.

Texas A & M is one of three universities that have reached an agreement with Iraq's minister of higher education.

The agreement allows for professor and student exchanges.

Iraq's counselor for public affairs says the program hopes to add more schools in the future.

The move is an effort to improve ties between Iraq and the west
