Islamics denounce shooting at Fort Hood

FORT HOOD, TEXAS - The alleged Fort Hood gunman is an American soldier of Palestinian descent who is a lifelong Muslim.
As a result the council on American Islamic relations is speaking out, denouncing the shooting.
Many in the Islamic community say they are outraged.
Police are trying to confirm witness accounts which said the gunman shouted "Allah Akbar" before he fired. The Arabic phrase stands for "God is great".

The mainstream media is for the most part, a mouthpiece for propaganda and senseless b-s. The story we've been hearing about Fort Hood is a cover-up. Why do you think there were over 500 soldiers and many helicopters deployed? The 'terrorist killing spree' was a decoy to hide the real incident. I suspect that over the coming months and years the real story will eventually, slowly but surely be revealed, and we will know why. Story continued below........

1 week agoWasn't Tim McVey a non-Muslim? And a military hero who saw combat (I think they get that 'hero' title automatically). And killed more people, both governmental and civilian? Oh, yes, yes he was..... So I guess it ain't just a Muslim thing.

1 week agoThe fact of the matter is that the gunman immersed himself in Islam, a religion based upon the Quran. The Quran clearly states that infidels - that is anyone who is NOT Muslim - is to be killed. Period.
I'm not making this up. You can read the Quran for yourself. This is simply a man who was taking his Islamic teaching seriously and acting upon the commands of his holy book. He was not insane but simply following the demands of his religion.
In America we are conditioned to Judeo-christian religions where the emphesis is put upon loving our neighbor as ourselves and forgiving those who percecute us. We simply can't imagine a religion that commands it's followers to murder those who disagree with their religion. We read of christian converts who are murdered in foreign countries by their own families and we push it to the far corners of our minds. It's a concept that we just can't bring ourselves to accept as a reality. It's so foreign to our way of thinking.
By the time we wake up and smell the coffee it may be too late.

1 week agoIt is good to hear the Islamic community is speaking out. Their not speaking out so many times in the past is I think one of the things that really bother the American people. I am a Christian first and an American second ,so I understand putting my God above anything. However, radical Islam seems to solve everything through violence first and that never solves any problem. There are millions of Islamic Americans that love this country. They had best start speaking out.

1 week agoIt is my hope that all of those who are troubled by the tragedy at Fort Hood will choose this time to understand that these acts were perpetrated by a man, first and foremost, a very troubled man who had lost his way. I am not Muslim and I am not a Christian, I am a man of faith. And my heart goes out to all of those who, in good faith, know that the wanton slaying of innocents, especially the unborn is anathema to all of those of faith whatever their beliefs may be. This is a time for prayer and the searching of ones own soul. May the God of your choice bless us all.

1 week agoif a western woman walks into countries of islamic faith these days without a scarf she will be arrested. The moslems should work on there part of the tolerance before asking for ours. Every veiled women is a tribute to direct and moral oppression of women.
And the reason moslem women wear the veil in America is plain provokation, which moderate moslems don't dare to publicly state. because of this cowerdice they will continue to raise these extremist in their midst. It is not coincidence.

1 week ago"And the reason moslem women wear the veil in America is plain provokation"
I disagree. The reason they wear scarves and veils is because their husbands and fathers demand it. Just because they live in America doesn't mean they have the opportunity to enjoy our freedoms. Muslim women enjoy only as much freedom as their masters, oops - I mean husbands - allow them.
Many years ago a muslim woman was going to leave her husband in Dearborn, MI. He found out about it and hacked her to death with a machette. He showed no remorse at his trial and declared that he would have been honored for doing this in his own country.
Their religion is so different from ours that whenever a muslim does something that his/her religion demands of them we look at them as if they were crazy or "disturbed". They are NOT disturbed, they are merely following the directives of their religion.

1 week agoThe reason for hoods & veils even for muslim/islamic women in America not completely for the husband/father, it is mainly because they have not simply found the balance in culture of Americans and the culture of the home country they came from.

1 week agoIts nice that the Muslim community is condemming the shooting at Fort Hood and the Major as a madman, but it seems to me the problem is the Koran. All Muslim terrorists, suicide bombers and killers of "infidels" study the Koran and claim to be devote Muslims doing God's will. There must be a chapter in this book for people who can't take it anymore that states its O.K. to go and kill other people to solve your personal problems. After all being a devout Muslim you will go to "Paradise". I have no religious affiliations because religion "forces" people, not necessarily just the Muslims, to kill for "God"

1 week agoThis tragedy is not about being a Muslim. The focus should stay on how unstable this person was. IT is quite unfortunate that this all happened and I am sorry but, we should not condemn the Muslim but the man. We certainly did not condemn christianity when Timothy McVeigh bombed OKC right? We all need some type of help from
drug and alcohol addiction
to anything that controls the person from being a productive citizen of society
