Jack Stallard impressed with Chris Davis

The Sports Editor of the Longview News-Journal is impressed with the season of Longview's Chris Davis.
Jack Stallard spoke with KETK's Danny Elzner.
Stallard said, "Chris Davis is a good kid, a Longview kid, an East Texas kid. You want to see those guys do well. He put together a solid first half. He hit .271, he had 14 homers and 40 runs batted in. Those are really good numbers. He'll hit 25 to 30 home runs this season. He'll drive in 70 to 80 runs. You'll take that. Not a lot is expected from the Orioles this year. There's not a lot of pressure on Chris. He's not worried about being sent down to the minors. If he slumps, they can sit him down for a couple of days. He's responded. Chris is in a good spot. Hopefully it will carry over to the rest of the season."
