Jack Stallard was asked by KETK's Danny Elzner for his reaction to the Rangers getting Yu Darvish, Japan's best pitcher.
Stallard said, "This was a no-brainer for the Rangers. They lost C. J. Wilson. They needed a front-line starter. They needed to show the fans that they're serious about staying a contender. Darvish is only 25-years-old. He's big, he's 6'5", 18-6 last year, 1.44 ERA. He keeps the ball in the park. If you're going to pitch in Arlington, you've got to keep the ball in the Ballpark. I think it's a great move for the Rangers."
