Jack Stallard spoke with KETK's Danny Elzner about a possible playoff showdown between defending state champion White Oak and highly-ranked Tatum.

Here is what Stallard said.

"It's looking like that showdown is coming. Tatum plays Jarrell Friday at SFA. White Oak plays Salado. #1 White Oak and #2 Tatum. They're district rivals. It's the matchup everyone is expecting, that at noon on Saturday they'll play for the regional championship. The winner will move on to the state tournament. Who wins? White Oak. It's hard to beat someone three times. White Oak has won the first two games by a total of six points. I pick White Oak but I wouldn't be surprised if Tatum upset them. Whoever goes from this region should win the state championship."
