Jack Stallard talks about the Henderson softball team

He's the Sports Editor of the Longview News-Journal.
Here is what Jack Stallard told KETK's Danny Elzner about the Henderson Lady Lions making their first-ever trip to the state softball tournament.
Stallard said, "This team is on a mission. The last two seasons Henderson has lost to the eventual state champion. They're tired of that. They want to be that team this year. Coach Julie Murry has done a great job. She's taken that program to new heights. They've got a chance to bring back a state championship. This is a young team. Their roster has three seniors, three juniors and eight sophomores. I don't think this will be a one-time deal for the Lady Lions. They're on a roll. I look for them to have another good season next year no matter what happens tomorrow."
