Jacksonville - Three people have been arrested in Jacksonville for allegedly buying alcoholic beverages from a bootlegger.

The three were arrested Friday at two different locations on the 700 block of Bryan Street and on the 100 block of Jeanine Street.

Police seized close to 300 cans of beer overall.

Jacksonville police say they got a tip about the bootlegging and an investigation was conducted.
