A popular powerlifter and owner of Iron Junkie Gym in Jacksonville died last night of what they believe to be heart related complications. At just 43-years-old, this came as a shock to everyone.

Not only was he an amazing powerlifter, but he was someone who made it his mission to inspire others. Wednesday night, the town of Jacksonville unfortunately lost a leader and a motivator, but the dreams and goals of Foreman will forever remain inside the walls of Iron Junkie Gym and in the heart of his wife and daughters.

"People love him," said wife, Lisa Foreman. "People gravitate toward him, he's one of those people who's always ready with a big heart and a big hug."

Wednesday night Danny was eating dinner with his family and everything was fine.

"He was getting ready for bed, said he didn't feel good," Foreman said. "I asked if he wanted to go to the emergency room, he said yes."

But Danny and Lisa were not able to make it past the driveway. He started to become unresponsive after getting to the car, so Lisa called 911.

"They worked on him for about 20 minutes, but they never were able to revive him," Foreman said.

At just 43 years old, no one saw this coming. An autopsy is still being completed now, but they believe it has to do with his heart.

"It's not unusual that in a young person a heart attack can be just that... sudden," said Cardiologist Oscar Paniaqua at Trinity Mother Frances Heart Hospital.

They do not know if it had to do with his lifting or if it was something that could have happened to anyone, but his family does know one thing -- they are living for Danny and they are ready to make him proud.

"My daughter has competed with us before and she said well we're still going to go set those world records in may right mom?" Foreman said. "And I said yeah, yeah we are. It's not going to be easy, and it's not going to be the same, but we're still going to do it."
