On November 22, 1963, America lost both a President and its innocence. It also marked the beginning of a virtual cottage industry in conspiracy theories.

A week after the tragic murder of President John F. Kennedy, newly sworn in President Lyndon B. Johnson, assembled a commission, headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Earl Warren, with Congressman Gerald Ford, Senator Richard Russell, Congressman Hale Boggs and others, including attorney Arlen Spector.

Their job was to determine who killed J.F.K.

In late September 1964, The Warren Commission published the results of an almost year long investigation.

It found Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, with the cheap, Mannlicher-Carcano rifle. And even his killing by Jack Ruby, was unrelated to any conspiracy.

The skepticism began almost immediately.

Pick your villain; Castro, Kruschev, the Mob, the CIA, all probably had their grudges against Kennedy.

Writers like Mark Lane, politicians like New Orleans DA Jim Garrison and filmmakers like Oliver Stone have fanned the flames of doubt.

"And there's no question that the Secret Service, the FBI and later the CIA, did a terrible job investigating this case," attorney and investigative reporter, Gerald Posner said. "They lied at times to the Warren Commission. They hid evidence. And all of that cover up, not of a murder, Roger, but of their own bureaucratic incompetence, created the groundwork for conspiracy speculation that lives to this day."

Posner's 1992 book Case Closed, is perhaps the definitive work on the assassination.

The latest and perhaps most bizarre theory is that President Kennedy died from friendly fire. It posits that a Secret Service agent named Hickey, accidentally shot the President from the following car. It was first proposed back in the early 90's, and would require an elaborate cover-up.

"I will tell you that the theory that JFK was killed by friendly fire by a Secret Service agent is absolutely disprovable," adds Posner." "There's a photograph taken by one of the bystanders at the assassination that shows that the Secret Service agent did not have the automatic weapon up until after Kennedy was already killed. The shame of this is that you can recycle like they did in that pseudo documentary on Reelz last night, theories that have been discredited previously put them under a nice new wrapper, put them out there and make money. And that's the problem with the JFK assassination. It's become a board game, who killed Kennedy? And people are still cashing in on it 50 years later, forget the history, forget the truth."

We don't want to believe, though, that it was that simple.

"We just can't get our hands around the fact that this 24-year-old sociopath loser in life, Lee Harvey Oswald, managed to end Camelot and all the potential and future of JFK and that Presidency," claims Posner."

In the end, we are left with one sad, and unsatisfactory conclusion.

"And the problem, I think Roger, is that there were probably conspiracies brewing against Jack Kennedy just like there are against any President," said Posner. "So, I wouldn't be surprised if the mob weren't sitting around some table saying, 'let's get that SOB.' Or, you had the same thing brewing with some anti-Castro Cubans. But my point in history is that Lee Harvey Oswald got there before any of the conspiracies. He wasn't working for them. They would have pinned a medal on him. They would have clapped him on the back. But, he wasn't their boy."

LBJ was all for it,he did not play well as second fiddle-MOB paid the hit

Wow you people have a lot of faith in human beings. To think humans could cover up a conspiracy so well for this long you must. Elite Navy Seals can't even pull off killing Usama Bin Laden without screwing it up after YEARS of training. Congratulations, people that believe in a cover-up after all these years are defintely part of the 66% of the people in the nation that really don't have a clue. Ranked right up there with the non-voters, crop-circlers and alien-abductees.

1963: On June 4th President John F. Kennedy (the 35th President of the United States 1961 – 1963) signs Executive Order 11110 which returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Rosthchilds owned Federal Reserve.
Less than 6 months later on November 22nd , president Kennedy is assassinated by the Rothschilds for the same reason as they assassinated President Abraham Lincoln in 1865, he wanted to print American money for the American people, as oppose to

for the benefit of a money grabbing war mongering foreign elite.

This Executive Order 11110, is rescinded by President Lyndon Baines Johnson (the 36th President of the United States 1963 to 1969) on Air Force One from Dallas to Washington, the same day as President Kennedy was assassinated.

Another, and probably the primary, reason for Kennedy's assassination is however, the fact that he made it quite clear to Israeli Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, that under no circumstances would he agree to Israel becoming a nuclear state. The Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz on February 5, 1999, in a review of, Avner Cohen's book, "Israel and the Bomb," states the following,

"The murder of American President John F. Kennedy brought to an abrupt end the massive pressure being applied by the U.S.

administration on the government of Israel to discontinue the nuclear program...The book implied that, had Kennedy remained alive, it is doubtful whether Israel would today have a nuclear option."

what i do know is my grandfather Pobert porter Turner was the one that drove Lee Oswal from the book Depository not the one that claimed his fame and said he did. right after he anounced he did. he died sudenly. My grandfather was afraid for his life that they would know the truth so he and my grandmother came to California to hide for a while. I remember it like it was yesterday. My dad has his book for when he was a taxie driver. we never told anyone but its time the truth is out .

I have always leaned toward the mafia being involved. Joe called on them to get out the vote and then Bobby and JFK started applying Federal heat.

Posner is wrong. Warren Comm. was to calm fears that might lead to war with Russia. LBJ said i knew we were running a murder inc. down there (Cuban exiles training in Florida). Dr. Crenshaw held tongue for years but wrote definitive book on experience in trauma room. Two entry wounds from the front were found. The kill shot came from front left facing JFK not TSD. He discredits magic bullet. Ruby, Marcello, Trafficante connected. Stone goes too far, but watch Zapruder film, trust evidence. RTB

I agree with RTB.

Agreed!

I do think a conspiracy with LBJ and maybe Cuba. Kennedy was about to have Castro taken down. Even tho he was not a moral man, I think he was a good president. And even tho she was not a moral woman I think she was a very classy young First Lady. I felt sorry for her because she knew when she married JFK, that he was going to be unfaithful to her. However she loved him and they had two children that made a difference in our country.

I definately believe LBJ and J. Edgar Hoover was involved.

I definately believe LBJ and J. Edgar Hoover was involved

I believe it was a conspiracy with LBJ involved.
