John Tyler boys basketball coach Tony Pinson is on administrative leave while an ongoing investigation is conducted.

Laura Jackson, the Director of Communications for the Tyler Independent School District, told KETK's Danny Elzner that TISD cannot discuss the details of the investigation.

Pinson has missed his team's last two games.

He's in his second season at John Tyler.

Assistant coach Cedeno Clark has taken over for Pinson while the school district conducts its investigation.
