Jury finds Casey Anthony not guilty of murder

ORLANDO — A Florida jury has acquitted Casey Anthony of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
Anthony showed no reaction when the jury's verdict was read Tuesday after more than 10 hours of deliberations. But she began to cry shortly after and hugged her attorney. She could have received a death sentence if she had been convicted of first-degree murder.
She was found guilty of lying to investigators. Judge Belvin Perry will sentence her Thursday.
Caylee disappeared in June 2008 and her body was found in woods near her grandparent's home six months later.The jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
Judge Belvin Perry says he will read the verdict at 2:15 p.m. EDT Tuesday.
The Florida jury deliberated for more than 10 hours. If convicted of first-degree murder, the 25-year-old Anthony could get a death sentence.
She could also be acquitted or convicted of second-degree murder or manslaughter.
She is also charged with lying to sheriff's detectives investigating her daughter's 2008 disappearance.

Casey Anthony, recently acquitted for the murder of her child, left her cell in Orlando, Fla. this morning and has not been witnessed since. Her attorney says she is protected, and that elaborate protections are required to keep her protected from individuals with a "lynch-mob mentality.". Bottom line is we live in a country that affords us Constitutional rights such as a jury of our peers, speedy trial, and we are innocent until proven guilty. Personally, I think that she's got a one way ticket to down under (and not Australia), but the prosecution did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she committed the murder. It's sad, but there just wasn't enough proof to convince the jury of her guilt.

Now look people need to stop judging Casey Anthony ! If you had studied all evidence and the cover up the father created you would change your mind. The father should have called EMT's to try to save the little girl . Instead he covered it up and instead decided to set up his daughter for the fall to go to Prison. Now, I do blame Casey for not staying home and caring for her child instead of partying all time. That doesn't make her a murderer. So, stop with your judgement calls.
Was this another O.J. deal!! Really It is so obvious that she is guilty!! What kind of woman has the kind of actions that she did (she knew the baby was dead) after loosing her child!! Guilty, Guilty, Guilty!!!!
Tonight I will hold my children, thank God for them, and take comfort in knowing that although a mother got away with ending her child's life today, precious Caylee is being held by Jesus in heaven and that He will have the final judgement on Casey Anthony. His judgement will be far worse than any jury or judge can give her here on earth.
