NBC VOD — The Justice Department is dropping its appeal of a federal court order that allows minors to obtain emergency contraception known as the morning after pill.
The appeal came last month when a federal judge had previously ruled that the Food and Drug Administration should lift age restrictions on Plan-B and put it on store shelves instead of behind pharmacy counters.
