LONGVIEW — Dancing With the Stars in Longview, an annual fundraising and entertainment event presented by the Pine Tree High School Leadership Class, will swing into high gear Saturday.

The event is produced by the cast of “Where Were you in ’42?,” an annual variety show sponsored by the Leadership Class, featuring dancing and music from the 1940s presented in a USO-style show.

Sponsor Terry Barrett said proceeds from Dancing with the Stars benefit cancer patients.

KETK's Kendall Kirkham and her partner, Danny, are just one of ten couples who've been dancing their hearts out learning their steps for this weekend’s event.
