For nine years, the Texas Redneck Games have made their way around East Texas, and this year, they were held in Easton at the Gator Run Offroad Park.

There wasn't a whole lot of mudding going on Saturday, since the ground was so dry, but that didn't stop people from across the country from enjoying the East Texas heat, and some ATV commoratory.

The event officially began on Thursday.

But people were already getting their spots in the park on Wednesday, and even earlier.

Even though people are still hurting for cash these days, the riders this week say they have been saving up their money for get-to-gethers such as this.

One rider tells KETK that he has already spent 15-hundred dollars on repairs alone.

But organizers say that's the kind of passion you will find on weeks like this.

And even though they are called the Redneck Games, people who may not associate themselves with that title still come to have a good time.
