Many families went to Easter Sunday service, Easter events, and one Rose Heights Church in Tyler held a kids service at Worship World. Children joined together in prayer and sang songs for Jesus on Easter Sunday.

"It's just a big day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus so we celebrate big every week with our kids but today we brought in the Lad's band form Tennessee, they're originally from New Zealand. The Lad's entertained kids by singing Christian songs and teaching the word of God through music.

Kids tell us about Easter Sunday service, "Jesus died on the cross to wash away our sins," said Adrien Newland. He says he loved that the Lad's came to sing for them.

Chase Hanner says he learned how to be a Christian and taught them the steps to be a Christian.

Pastor Chris Ryan says Worship World at Rose Heights Church is not only a place for worship but a place to learn.

"We ask them the hard questions of how they knew Jesus was a live in their  life and searching God's word says about that- then asking them to go live that out everyday," said Pastor Chris Ryan.

He says they are building the foundation for future generations. "Statistics show if you don't get the gospel to the boys and girls even before the age of 12 you know it's going to be hard to reach them after that," said Pastor Chris Ryan.
