Kilgore ISD: All hands needed for campuses’ traffic tie-ups
Kilgore — It’s been all hands on deck so far this week as officials work to untangle traffic around two new Kilgore ISD campuses.
Mornings and afternoons have seen long lines of cars and buses waiting to drop off or pick up children — and an army of district officials, staff and volunteers directing them.
“We do appreciate parents being patient and giving us the opportunity to fix this,” said Assistant Superintendent Revard Pfeffer, adding about 1,000 vehicles passed through the conjoined campuses off U.S. 259 Monday.
