KILGORE, TX --- After complaints by some downtown business owners and customers, the city of Kilgore is looking at parking alternatives to provide more parking.

With recent improvements to the downtown area more customers are heading to downtown Kilgore to shop and eat but many times have trouble finding parking.

At Tuesday city council meeting the council decided to look at ways to add parking.

The council decided parking meters and a time limit will not be part of the alternative parking.
