Longview, TX — A Kilgore man was arrested Wednesday after Gregg County sheriff’s deputies said they found numerous images of child pornography on his cell phone, including images of him molesting a 2-year-old.

Jesse Dale Smith, 33, was arrested at his Gregg County home after deputies followed up on a Child Protected Services report, according to his arrest affidavit. Smith admitted to a deputy he had images of child pornography on his phone and allowed the deputy to look at the phone’s pictures.

The deputy said he found numerous images of children 2 to 17 years old engaging in sexual acts with adults and other minors.
