A manhunt in Rusk County has been suspended until late Tuesday morning.

Kilgore Police officers attempted to serve a warrant at a home near the intersection of Layton and Florence in Kilgore overnight, but the suspect fled from officers. Despite a K-9 unit and DPS helicopter joining the search, the suspect was not found.

Police say they'll continue searching for the suspect later Tuesday morning.

No other information about the suspect or the search is available.
