Kilgore residents plead guilty to drug trafficking

The Longview News Journal reports four Kilgore residents pleaded guilty this week to federal drug trafficking violations, according to attorney John M. Bales.

Matthew Dean Willis, 25, and Terri Young, 51, pleaded guilty Thursday to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

David Christopher Wheeler, 30, and Raelene Dawn Ferguson, 27, pleaded guilty to the same charges earlier this week.

According to information presented in court, the four defendants were involved in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in Gregg County.

They were indicted on Nov. 2.

Each defendant faces up to 20 years in federal prison. Sentencing dates have not been set.
