Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; the La Porte High School teacher accused of having an sexual relationship with a student that began through social media is out on bond Thursday.

Kevin Andrew Wheeler, 31, who has been released from jail on a $50,000 bond, is charged with improper relationship with a student.
