NEW YORK, NY - Passengers are being allowed back into New York's LaGuardia airport after a bomb scare shut it down.

Officials evacuated the airport's main terminal around 5:30 Saturday morning.

They say a man approached security with a fake bomb in a bag.

It wasn't clear if the 32-year-old man made a threat, but a spokesperson says he was "just acting crazy."

Police say inside the man's bag was a few batteries and wires but it was not dangerous.

No word on how many flights were delayed or canceled due to the incident.
