TYLER - Tyler Police Department arrested Lance Phillips around 10 a.m. for Impoper Photo/Visual Recording Arouse/Gratify.

Phillips had been under investigation for allegedly taping a female at his residence, when cameras were found throughout the house.

Lance Phillips is the son of Smith County Commissioner Terry Phillips and Smith County Clerk-elect Karen Phillips.

Phillips was released on a $5,000 bond an hour later.

KETK attempted to contact Commissioner Phillips, but he is not issuing a statement at this time.
