Large drug bust lands seven in jail

Nacogdoches Police arrest 7 people this evening after a drug bust.

Officers from Nacogdoches County Sheriff office released a search warrant in the 2700 block of Old Tyler Road.

Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that he had recieved several complaines from citizens in the area of ongoing drug activity.

The investigation took place in three residences that were believed to be distributing crack cocaine.

Nacogdoches County Sheriff office has conducted several undercover purchases of crack cocaine from the are.

Sheriff Bridges stated that a previous search warrant took place on the same residences a month ago, in which several arrests were made for possession of narcotics.

Around 4:00 this evening authorities searched the three different houses. Both agencies conducted an extensive search of the residences and found crack cocaine rocks, digital scales, currency, and drug paraphernalia.
All suspects have now been booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
