Registration underway for Trash-off

Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; Angelina County residents can register now to participate in the next Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off, scheduled for April 14.

According to TxDOT, 75,872 volunteers participated in 848 Trash-Off events across the state in 2011, and more than 6,000 miles of highway were cleared of litter and debris.
