TEXAS---A report on the ten Texas state mental hospitals found that more than seventy employees have been fired over the last three years due to allegations of beatings and physical abuse and dozens more have been disciplined.

The allegations include putting patients in chokeholds, headlocks, and threatening them.

The report also found that hundreds were also fired for over medicating patients but state health officials say the number of abuse cases is dropping.
