Land owned by prominent Houston surgeon

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Four pot growers were arrested after a marijuana field was found on land in Leon County, part of which is owned by a prominent former Houston hand surgeon.

The pot plants were discovered Thursday by an employee at Michael Brown's ranch, said his attorney, Dick DeGuerin.

"(The employee) was out trying to figure out (placement of) fence lines and he stumbles across a small plot of marijuana plants," DeGuerin said. "Then he sees a number of plants."
