A group of east Texas college students are making a difference in the lives of disabled children around the world.

Last semester the Letourneau Frontier Wheels Design Team teamed up with Hope Haven to build a better wheelchair to fit the user or their environment.

One problem they found was the foot rest not being compatible with different disabilities.

The group designed a new one that can be fitted for each individual.

For the group it's more than just engineering, it's helping those in need.
