Deputy discovered child living in filthy conditions while investigating reports of animal neglect

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; a sheriff’s deputy discovered a child living in filthy conditions while investigating reports of animal neglect in Liberty County.

The deputy found a dead horse about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the backyard of a trailer home along the 100 block of County Road 2802.
