Lindale, TX — This Saturday the Lindale Kwik Lube and Service parking lot was packed with everything from hot rods to bounce houses, all for the Third Annual Kwik Kar Summertime Classic Car Show. Each year this car show is held to give auto fans a chance to show off their wheels, all while giving back to the community. This year the proceeds from the show went towards cancer research at the Trinity Mother Frances Ross Breast Center.
Event organizer Bryan Walding says, "Originally we put on the car show to get our name out there to let the community know that the quick car is not owned by the same people anymore and after that we started doing it for different causes the fire department and now breast cancer just something to try and give back to the community."
In total, the car show raised approximately $650.
