Lindale — Officials with the Lindale Garden Club have announced it will award two, $500 scholarships to qualified Lindale High School graduating seniors.

The scholarships are not solely based on grades but will also be based on need, club officials said.

Applications for the scholarships can be obtained from the LHS counselor’s office beginning March 21.

The applications must be completed and returned to the counselor’s office by April 4. The applications will then submitted to the garden club’s scholarship committee, with winners being announced at a luncheon on May 14.
