Lindale horse rescue: Owner identified
TYLER - Just a few ago animals were on the brink. Officials say they were sick, starving, and some, just days away from death.
But, with the joint effort of several organization, these animals are getting second chance.
After the rescue the animals were moved to the East Texas State Fair grounds where they are being fed and treated.
Investigators identified 62-year old Linda Sue Michael of Quitman is the owner of the neglected animals.
Officials say District Attorney Matt Bingham is heading up the case. So far no word on the specific charges Quitman may face.
