Lindale ISD alumni association seeks ‘distinguished’ nominations
LINDALE — The Awards Committee of the Lindale ISD Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the prestigious 2012 Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Service Awards.
The Distinguished Alumni Award will be given to a Lindale High School graduate whose achievements, strengths of character and citizenship serve as a model to inspire and challenge current students.
To be eligible for the award, a nominee must have attended at least three years of high school in Lindale and be at least 40 years of age. Award recipients will be selected based on additional criteria set by the Association board of directors.
Awards for alumni will be given for achievement in various fields of service.
The Distinguished Service Award will be given to a former faculty member or other individual whose outstanding service greatly contributed to the success of the Lindale Independent School District. The recipient of the Distinguished Service Award does not have to be a graduate or previous student of the Lindale ISD.
