Lindale woman killed in one-vehicle rollover near Tyler

The woman killed in this mornings rollover has been identified as 38-year-old Windy Ann Holland of Lindale.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Quincy Beavers.

Officials say she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.


ORIGINAL REPORT: An early morning rollover has claimed the life of an East Texas woman.

The accident happened at County Road 433 and Highway 110 in Smith County just after midnight. The vehicle the woman was driving left the roadway, flipped, and hit an electric pole, splitting the pole in two.

The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.  

Several homes in the area were also left without power for several hours until ONCOR could repair the electric pole.
