Linden — Work on the Linden City Park continues as the deadline for completion nears on the $707,540 project. Several portions of the park project have been completed but many still are far from finished.

The project is funded by a $353,770 matching grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The city committed $100,000 and Linden Area Parks Board committed $120,000. The remainder of the matching funds includes both cash and in-kind donations.
