Lobo artists receive awards, accolades at annual museum show

Longview, TX — Longview High School art students took first place in five medium categories, including a sweep in one category, at the 2012 Longview Museum of Fine Arts Student Invitational. Another Lobo artist was honored with an art juror’s pick, which is awarded to someone is not otherwise honored in a particular category.
The annual exhibition featured about 150 artists from more than 10 area schools, according to Renee Hawkins, the museum’s director.
