Longview, TX — Do you think your chili is good enough to be called the ‘Best Chili in Lobo Nation?’ Well then, bring it on!

Show off your culinary skills and grab some bragging rights at the 2nd Annual Lobo Band Chili Cook-off, Nov. 10 at Lobo Stadium. The fundraiser event is part of the Honor America Extravaganza, which will feature Longview ISD marching bands and fireworks.

Not only does the winner own the title of ‘Best Chili in Lobo Nation,’ that person (or team) will be awarded a $150 gift certificate to Sam’s Club/Wal-Mart.

This event is open to all school district groups, local businesses and individuals. The Honor America Extravaganza typically sees at least 2,000 spectators – so plan on bringing your best stuff. The Lobo Band Chili Cook-off entry fee is $30. You and/or your team will need to bring three gallons of your best chili.

The winner will be crowned during the Honor America Extravaganza.
