Longview — Big Box retailers have long ruled Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But this year, local small businesses are getting in on the action by seizing the day that falls in the middle of all the hype — Small Business Saturday.

The Longview Chamber of Commerce is promoting Small Business Saturday as a way to celebrate and support local businesses and what they do for the community.

American Express launched Small Business Saturday three years ago to bring awareness to locally-owned businesses.
