East Texas — Rosalinda Campozano drops her daughter off at Longview ISD’s Playing for Keeps Early Childhood Center each morning on her way to class at Kilgore College.

Campozano, who was pregnant at age 15, graduated last spring thanks in part, she says, to the school district’s programs to help school-aged parents, such as the daycare service.
