TYLER-There may have been a grocery bag in your mailbox Thursday.

It's all part of the East Texas Food Bank's 'Stamp Out Hunger' food drive.
All you have to do is fill the bag with non perishable food items like canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice or cereal. Place the bag next to your mailbox Saturday and your mail carrier will pick it up.

This is the 16Th year for the food drive and the food bank says this is their most critical year.

" with rising food and fuel cost folks are having a more difficult time feeding their families, so whatever we get for this food drive will be in and out of the warehouse in less than 30 days", said Robert Bush, The Executive director of the East Texas Food Bank.

Brookshire Grocery Company donated the grocery bags for the food drive and $30,000 in grocery products.
