VAN ZANDT CO.--A teenage girl from Wills Point that's been charged with murder will now be tried as an adult.

Brooklyn Kay Fincher is accused of killing her mother with a deer rifle while she was sleeping.

Fincher was only 16 when the crime allegedly took place.

The Van Zandt County District Attorney tells us the girls boyfriend is also charged with murder and possession of a firearm on school grounds.

He has bailed out of jail.

Fincher is still jailed on a 150-thousand dollar bond.
