Longview, TX — City of Longview offices will be closed, Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

The Sanitation Division will remain on the regular trash collection schedule throughout the holiday week. The Compost Facility will be closed Monday, July 4, and Tuesday, July 5.

The Longview Public Library will be closed Monday, July 4. The Library book drop will remain open.

Broughton Recreation Center, Green Street Recreation Center, and Paula Martin Jones Recreation Center will be closed Saturday, July 2 and will reopen Tuesday, July 5. Longview Swim Center will be closed on July 4; however, Ingram Pool will be open.

Longview Transit, the public bus transportation system, will be closed Monday, July 4, and will resume regular operating schedule on Tuesday, July 5.
