Longview, TX — Join us for the first annual Howl-o-ween Canine Carnival supporting Longview Dog Park! The Carnival will be held on Saturday, October 27th at the Paul Boorman trail from 12-3 with contests for pets and humans beginning at 1:00 p.m. Registration will begin at noon, along the Paul Boorman trail, between the two dog parks and the 121 Summers Dr. entrance and 2422 H.G. Moseley entrance.

Contests will include:

• Scariest costume for pet and scariest costume for human
• Funniest costume for pet and funniest costume for human
• Most creative costume for pet and most creative costume for human
• Best dressed for pet and best dressed for human
• Best dressed pet and owner (matching)

Games will include:
• Canine Cake Walk
• Canine "Bob"
• Hydrant Toss
• Pail Hide 'n Seek
• Golf Ball Race
• Painting Booth

Available for an additional $25 will be a microchip clinic, and also available for an additional $5 will be a raffle ticket for an entry to win a personalized water color portrait of your pooch!

Registration is $20. Registration form is attached. Please mail in form prior to October 25th to ensure your desired t-shirt size. Same day registrations will be accepted. Registrants will receive one event t-shirt as supplies last and ten (10) event tickets to enter the contests and games. All dogs attendees must be fully vaccinated and owners are required to have record of vaccination with them at event.

Bring you and your pooch in their Howl-o-ween best to participate in this event! All proceeds benefit Longview Dog Park and their ongoing improvements, like the tree planting which began this week.
