Longview — A banker, a psychologist and a ballooning dentist will be honored Friday, at Longview Independent School District’s annual Distinguished Alumni ceremony.

This year’s honorees are Brenda Gale Moss-Mathis, a 1976 graduate who has extensive experience in the banking business; Dr. Pruedence Brooks, a 1992 graduate who provides psychological counseling with MHMR of Harris County; and Dr. Bill Bussey, a 1961 graduate and is a local dentist who was instrumental in beginning the Great Texas Balloon Race.
